Adventures in Costume Styling in Old Town

September 13, 2010

This, ladies and gentlestuds, is my first venture into styling for movin’ pictures! Is photo styling and costuming different, you ask?  Worlds apart, folks, worlds apart!  But this was a fun experience, regardless.

So here is the premise for the commercial (which I happened to have written):  The heroine has a dress that she absolutely loves.  We see her on different days in different situations wearing that same beloved dress– accessorized differently, of course.

The second half of the commercial is pretty easy, styling-wise.  The actress wears a robe for the final two scenes, and as she is steaming her favorite dress.  I won’t go into any more detail about the plot, because I will be posting the finished product in the next few weeks!

Okay, here is the situation: I HAVE PICTURES on my boyfriend’s camera (since my camera fell to its death) but my computer isn’t recognizing the camera. So Kody is going to have to go dig around for the installation CD! Whew!

But I have about a week’s worth of pictures to upload… so… SOON!
